Description

The new high-speed passenger train is faster than a speeding bullet and it's on-track to super-speed passengers to their destinations! Well it has a red and white battery box, and what appears to be a red and white IR receiver at the back. Following privatization a bunch were bought by a German firm (at that point it was Railion) and painted in the bright red livery. Two years later the LEGO Group introduces the LEGO wheel, which has a huge impact on the LEGO System in Play.

The LEGO® City High-Speed Passenger Train (60051) was retired in July 2018, but we have many new additions to our collection of trains. Pre-schoolers have been able to play with trains starting with the first LEGO DUPLO® push-along train in 1977. Action bricks also encourage early coding, problem solving, and learning colors in a fun, safe environment.A major LEGO train landmark is reached in 1966 when the first battery powered train land on the shelves. The new City port set 4645 got a conveyor belt , and it seems that the bulk cargo loading tower thing is also using it. It took him about an Hour and half to make, and in his words, "it was easy" The train travels quit quickly, however a few more straights would have been a good idea. Now I've bought the same for my Grandson and I hope he plays with it as much as my son and neighbours have. After present LEGO owner Kjeld Kirk Kristiansen differentiates the LEGO product range by introducing product lines like Castle and Space for the first time in 1978, a specialized product line for trains is introduced in 1980.

We restrict the purchase limit available to a single household to ensure fairness for all of our fans. Admittedly not up with Maersk or EN, but better than the red passenger and yellow freight simply for no other reason than it is a diesel.LEGO, the LEGO logo, the Minifigure and the brick and knob configurations are trademarks and/or copyrights of the LEGO Group of companies which does not sponsor, authorize or endorse this site. Anyway, I do like that sort of heavy industrial diesel unit and it is a bit more European than the Maersk. I'm American and it's obviously European but I've spent some time 'on the Continent' and have been to many rail museums there. The building blocks can be used in combination with other building block toys, or you can stack them on the top of each other.
