The Hisense has better contrast, better out-of-the-box color accuracy, displays native 4k content perfectly, and has lower input lag. The Samsung NU7100 – a 2018 TV which we awarded four stars in our review, and which cost a smidge more than the Hisense Roku at release – couldn’t get anywhere near the same levels of rich colors. However, the image is inaccurate as increasing Contrast makes the image too blue, as seen in this color gamut photo. We’ve seen plenty of Hisense TVs in the UK, but this is the first one to feature the Roku TV operating system, found on Roku-made streamers and a smattering of TVs in various territories. If you have a wide seating area, then look into the 55 inch model of the Toshiba C350 Fire TV 2021, which has wide viewing angles.

We measured peak brightness after calibration in the 'Movie' Picture Mode with Backlight at its max and Gamma at '2. Faster motion isn’t as problematic, though, and in every circumstance the A7200G draws smooth, well-defined edges and is capable of generating decent depth of field. These shouldn't be issues if you just leave it in one spot, but it may pose a problem if you constantly need to move it around. The UX isn't the only TV that got some love this year, as Hisense has also made considerable improvements to the rest of their ULED lineup. Hold down the manual button on the unit for 30 seconds (if unsure of location please refer to the user manual).

bandwidth ports with a 60Hz panel, so you lose out on the 144Hz refresh rate of the more expensive models. It's one of the few options in Hisense's lineup that comes with Roku TV instead of the Android TV found on most of their models. The Hisense gets brighter, has slightly better reflection handling, has a quicker response time, and lower input lag.

Despite its low cost, the Hisense Roku TV comes with a 4K panel, as many cheap TVs do these days, although if you’re going to be watching anything in HD resolution it can handle that just fine. It has a thin plastic back panel that feels like metal, and the plastic at the bottom feels more solid. Any remaining inaccuracies can't be spotted with the aid of a colorimeter, and the color temperature is almost spot on with the 6500K target. The Hisense R6090G has an excellent low input lag, and it's a significant improvement over the Hisense H6570G and the Hisense H6510G. It's also quite a bit dimmer, with worse contrast, than the other models, so HDR content doesn't look as vibrant overall. The Hisense Roku TV manages to draw a decent amount of colour out of SDR (standard dynamic range) sources, too.
