Odd since it went direct from shrink wrap to drive and I'm always really careful about not touching anything but the edges. It also contains lots of added collectables including a Remembrall Pin Badge, a replica train ticket and 2 booklets.

When Harry Potter learns on his eleventh birthday that he is, in fact, a wizard, he is quickly swept up into the spellbinding world of Hogwarts School of Whitchcraft and Wizardry alongside new best friends, Ron Weasley and Hermione Granger. Whats really ironic is that this is the third format I've owned this particular movie on and it was a PITA to rip Every. This upgrade allows the tone of the movie to cling a bit more to the more colorful production elements of the first two, helping bridge the gap to the more jarring aesthetic changes. The main issue for me is the weird grain effect, you see it swirling around in parts, like on Hermione's face just before she leaves her home at the start of DH1. son, treating Harry as, at best a second-class citizen, in fact, Harry's room was the cupboard under the stairs. If you're running a script or application, please register or sign in with your developer credentials here. It also results in a near absence of color in a cave of black-magic and a gray hollowness in the damaged great hall and with the death of Dumbledore (who Snape killed! Harry becomes a popular student in fact a leader except to Malfoy (Tom Felton) an ongoing adversary and would embark on many dangerous tasks with his close friends never far away he also competed in challenges and house/school games such as Quidditch which he proved to be very good at.

Home Entertainment's Tenet topped both the Blu-ray-only and overall packaged media charts for the fifth time in six weeks of release. obsidian1200 wrote:I've ran into the same issue, first 2 films report no key when using the latest hashed_keys file, but the rest seem to be going okay. Only complaint is this movie (in two scenes) really highlights the weaknesses of older/less capable HDR displays that can't tone-map as well as newer TVs, but that's a TV issue not a disc problem. Very important to note that this particular series is for Region 2 UK and won't play on most Region 1 DVD players, so you will need a 'region free' player to view them unless you are in UK/EU areas. There are so many practical elements in the first two installments that upscaling the image is more effective than with heavy CGI (which , fun fact, can’t yet be rendered at a 4K resolution).I recommend a 50/50 mixture of water and rubbing alcohol (isopropyl alcohol) and be sure to use a clean microfiber cloth. I am cautiously building my 4K collection as I don;t want to invest in discs if I can't rip them since I hate having to dig out discs and load them in my player.

Discover filmmaking secrets, spell incantations, creatures, magical artifacts and more in this enchanting collection of fun activities and curiosities. Looked the disc over and it had one barely noticeable smudge (had to be held at the perfect angle to see it). The ‘Creating Harry Potter’ documentary really is very, very good, so you definitely should try to get a version with it. I have to admit by watching them with these 4K discs on a PS5 and LG OLED tv there is nothing to be jealous about seeing it in the theatres. Can anyone confirm if their Harry Potter 4K box set comes with extras such as the 8-part documentary Creating the World of Harry Potter?Celebrate the 20th Anniversary of Harry Potter and the Philosopher’s Stone with a complimentary commemorative Limited Edition Remembrall™ enamel pin from the Harry Potter Fan Club Pin Seeking collection. Possibly the worst installment in the series feels more alive, true to its’ source, and richly detailed in practical sets like the maze and graveyard. Harry leans much about his parents and how they had died at the hands of the evil and powerful Wizard Voldemort (Ralph Fiennes) who has until now been in obscurity but with the emergence of Harry at Hogwarts is striving to regain both his Presence and considerable powers in the hope of finishing what he'd started years before by killing Harry.

Prisoner of Azkaban fixed the elevated blacks of the Blu, while not crushing as much, so for those alone it was worth upgrading. At the Mall, Harry is surprised to learn that he is indeed well known and in fact famous, seems everyone knows more than he does. This iconic pin, depicting Neville Longbottom's iconic Remembrall comes with an Enchanted Key that unlocks magical surprises when scanned using the free Harry Potter Fan Club app. This whole set really does show the benefit of 4K - all the scenes that were too dark and muddled on dvd are brought to life and given new depth and clarity. Half-Blood Prince may be my favourite disc visually, although the cinematography could be the main reason for that. One of the stronger artistic statements in the franchise is only benefitted by rich colors from the wooded sets and magical objects like the ‘Knight Bus.
